NEW YORK: The Financial Times has appointed a new SVP of marketing

and circulation, Stephen Brennen. He takes over responsibility for PR

from John Lizars, who also gains a new title, that of VP research and

marketing strategy. Brennan joins from the Journal of Commerce Group

where he held the same position. In the newly created role he will

oversee marketing strategy, retail marketing and advertising as well as

PR.
