NEW YORK: GCI Group's consumer and healthcare practices piled on
the weight last week with the arrival of new client Slim-Fast.
The appointment is the fruit of Slim-Fast's long-term relationship with
Grey Worldwide, GCI's sister advertising agency. The PR task is to draw
on both the agency's consumer and healthcare capabilities to raise
awareness across all North American audiences (including Canada), and to
boost Grey's advertising efforts with a consistent branding message
across all media.
Michiel Kruyt, Slim-Fast's VP of marketing, talked about the advantages
of keeping the business within the same network: "GCI adds an invaluable
layer to the strength of our relationship with Grey," he said. "Together
they bring broad industry experience, strategic thinking, and deep
talent to this growth opportunity."
