NEWS IN BRIEF

WASHINGTON: Fenton Communications president Maggie Williams has

left the agency. Williams, former chief of staff to first lady Hillary

Rodham Clinton, signed a one-year agreement with the public interest PR

firm one year ago, and declined offers from chairman and founder David

Fenton to stay. She is currently working as a consultant to the firm.

Fenton said he will not replace Williams, opting instead to have COO

Kristen Wolf oversee the day-to-day activities of the firm.
