Kounelias, who has rejoined the AOL-owned company from Fox

The pair had worked together during Kounelias' last stint at the studio
between 1991 and 1997.
Kounelias, who is replaced at Fox by Joe Early, was named EVP of
publicity and promotions, replacing Mary Donovan, who becomes EVP of
Kounelias already has her eye on planning Oscars campaigns. "There are
three movies with Oscar potential: Life as a House, Lord of the Rings,
and I am Sam," she said.
Kounelias will be heading a team of approximately 25 publicists based in
New York and Los Angeles.
New Line's most recent hit is Rush Hour 2, which has earned $180
million at the box office.
Its PR division has won two PRWeek awards, including Campaign of the
Year for the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and New Media
Site of the Year for Lord of the Rings.
