INTERNATIONAL NEWS: VeriSign reaches to UK's Banner PR

LONDON: Banner PR has been retained by California-based internet

transaction security firm VeriSign on a PR campaign for the UK and

EMEA.

The NASDAQ-listed company handed Banner the brief - believed to be worth

more than £150,000 - as part of a major rebranding campaign.

VeriSign has appointed Applied Communications in the US to work on the

rebranding, which was launched following VeriSign's acquisition of

domain registrar Network Solutions last year.

Initially, the agency will work across the UK, France, and Germany, with

plans to extend the campaign to Scandinavia, Benelux, and EMEA next

year.

The account is led by Banner director Robert Hollier, who reports to

VeriSign comms director Tom Galvin.
