LONDON: Banner PR has been retained by California-based internet
transaction security firm VeriSign on a PR campaign for the UK and
The NASDAQ-listed company handed Banner the brief - believed to be worth
more than £150,000 - as part of a major rebranding campaign.
VeriSign has appointed Applied Communications in the US to work on the
rebranding, which was launched following VeriSign's acquisition of
domain registrar Network Solutions last year.
Initially, the agency will work across the UK, France, and Germany, with
plans to extend the campaign to Scandinavia, Benelux, and EMEA next
The account is led by Banner director Robert Hollier, who reports to
VeriSign comms director Tom Galvin.
