NEW YORK: US Spanish-language PR pitches have a new electronic

target.

MSNBC.com has joined with the Netmio. com unit of Hispanic Broadcasting

Corporation to provide Spanish-language content.

MSNBC.com has provided content in Spanish in Mexico and Latin America,

but this is the first time the website is providing Spanish-language

content in the US.

Year-and-a-half-old Netmio. com posts news from cities with large

Hispanic populations, including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los

Angeles, Brownsville, TX, Miami, New York, San Antonio, San Diego, and

San Francisco.

Netmio.com also webcasts radio shows from stations owned or operated by

Hispanic Broadcasting. Additionally, the company will translate English

stories on MSNBC.com to Spanish.
