LAST CALL: This couple will surely stick together

Duck-brand duct tape took the phrase "stuck on your mate" literally

for their latest stunt.

For the "Stuck on You" contest - arranged by LA-based Cerrell and

Associates for Duck brand manufacturer Manco - engaged couples could

submit a videotape telling about their relationship and their use of

duct tape. The winners would receive a free wedding for 75 guests and a

Hawaiian honeymoon. The catch? Everything from the bride's dress to the

wedding bouquet was made of sticky adhesive for the special day.

The event got attention from outlets including the AP and local TV

stations.

The designer who made the tape-bouquets is scheduled to be featured on

the TV show To Tell The Truth.

We wish the Thomases well and hope they are as adept at pointing and

clicking as they are at taping and sticking - the Duck brand website

recommends WD-40 for breaking down their adhesive. Before we knew that,

we were stuck trying to figure out how the happy couple would enjoy that

Hawaiian honeymoon.
