LAST CALL: Everybody wants to have Coolballs

The cackling in editorial brought the boys from the ad department

running when PRWeek got a press release about Coolballs, which has hired

Walnut Creek, CA-based SP Marketing for the Coolballs national

launch.



Once the requisite dirty jokes were made, we clicked over to

coolballs.com.



The 3-D antenna balls were cute, but we couldn't concentrate too much on

the product. We were too busy imagining the poor folks at SP Marketing

making their media pitch calls: "Hello, my name is PR Joe. Did you get

my press release about the fun your readers could have with

Coolballs?"



OK, we admit it - we registered on the website to win a free

Coolball.



Maybe we were wondering how much fun we could have with Coolballs,

too ...
