Terpin returns to agency role after Internet Wire stint

LOS ANGELES: Michael Terpin, founder, CMO, and chairman of Internet Wire, has left the company to reassume his leadership position at The Terpin Group.

LOS ANGELES: Michael Terpin, founder, CMO, and chairman of Internet Wire, has left the company to reassume his leadership position at The Terpin Group.

Terpin remains a shareholder and chairman of the board at Internet Wire.

"Mike and I used to always joke that I was his boss,

said Jim McGovern, CEO of Internet Wire, "but he was mine, and will continue to have a significant role within the company."

The original CEO for Internet Wire, Terpin knew that he would eventually go back to the agency side. "My intention from the start was that it would be a sabbatical from The Terpin Group,

he said. When Patrick McKenna, Terpin Group CEO, left the company, Terpin decided to reclaim his position rather than recruit someone new.

A technology-focused firm, The Terpin Group is now exploring various options in the biotech area.
