SINGAPORE: JD Edwards %26 Co., a US firm providing customer relationship management software and consulting services, is working to bolster its awareness in Asia with the counsel of Fleishman-Hillard.
Fleishman, on a one-year retainer, will be focusing on the Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, and India markets. Work will involve mostly media relations, as well as organizing a road show across the four key markets.
JD Edwards wants to lift its relatively low profile, said Karen Ho, Fleishman VP and group manager. According to Ho, JD Edwards had used various PR agencies in different markets across the region, but consolidated the account with Fleishman because it wanted a more consistent and coordinated approach to marketing the brand regionally.
The appointment came without a formal pitch, as JD Edwards already works with Fleishman in the US.
