CHICAGO: Consumer-products giant Unilever has been slowly unveiling its PR agency reshuffle as both Edelman and Weber Shandwick Worldwide have recently announced that they are servicing major Unilever product lines.

Edelman has pulled in what is likely to be more than $1 million in new business from its dealings with Unilever, and will work for the home and personal-care group as it launches Axe deodorant body spray - known in other markets as Lynx - in North America this August. Edelman will work on Unilever's Finesse hair-care products.

WSW has been named agency of record for six Unilever brands, including All laundry detergent, Q-tips, Mentadent toothpaste, ThermaSilk haircare products, and Degree antiperspirant, as well as the Unilever Bestfoods brand Ragu.

Both agencies plan to handle the work out of their Chicago and New York City offices. Edelman will also tap its Dallas office for work on Finesse.
