Klose becomes radio president

National Public Radio has appointed a former Washington Post Moscow bureau chief as its new president. Kevin Klose, 58, spent 25 years at the Post before joining Radio Free Europe as president.

National Public Radio has appointed a former Washington Post Moscow bureau chief as its new president. Kevin Klose, 58, spent 25 years at the Post before joining Radio Free Europe as president. He is currently director of the International Broadcasting Bureau. NPR has a weekly audience of around 13 million on 604 affiliate US stations.
