Harvin promoted at Sprint

DALLAS: Sprint has promoted Robert Harvin to a new position, as vice president of public relations and brand management, in a move to consolidate its PR activities.

DALLAS: Sprint has promoted Robert Harvin to a new position, as vice president of public relations and brand management, in a move to consolidate its PR activities. The former VP of marketing services for the company's Dallas-based business-to-business unit will remain in Dallas and report to Len Lauer, senior VP for quality development and PR at the Missouri HQ. Harvin oversees PR, internal communications, corporate sponsorships, customer and employee events and community relations for long-distance services.

Previously, several business units within long-distance handled their own marcomms. Harvin has also worked for AMR, British Airways and Trammel Crow.
