CONGO: Washington-based consultant EAW Group has clinched a one-year contract worth $500,000 to advise Laurent Kabila's Democratic Republic of Congo government following the recent cessation of fighting on the country's eastern border. The agency will target construction companies and raw material suppliers as part of its campaign to highlight business opportunities in the country. 'We want to reach US companies, that could get involved in infrastructure development,' explained EAW's John Aycoth, who will head the five-person team working on the campaign.
