Former Shandwick Americas chief Scott Meyer has been elevated to CEO of

Shandwick International; Michael Murphy, to deputy CEO, Shandwick Int’l;

Mary Jeffries, to COO, Shandwick Int’l; Don Riegle, to deputy chairman,

Shandwick Int’l/chairman, Shandwick Asia Pacific; Alison Clarke, to CEO,

Shandwick Asia Pacific; and Charles Lankester, to MD, European

development.

’We are relaunching Shandwick, really,’ said Meyer. ’We’re connecting

ourselves around the world in a way we never have before.’

Meyer was quick to add, however, that the Shandwick executive hierarchy

was ’not something that needed to be fixed.’ Rather, the moves reflect

the desire of Shandwick’s clients for the agency to talk in a single

voice globally.

’If you want the kind of clients that Shandwick wants, you need to be

aligned globally,’ he said.

Murphy, Riegle and Jeffries will report to Meyer who, in turn, will

report directly to IPR chairman and CEO Lord Chadlington.
