Where do PR pros go once they retire? While Florida may be among the more popular destinations, the Pub Clubbers of the Early Era are offering another alternative to those in the Boston area.

The Early Era group, formed in 1986, holds a ’nostalgic annual meeting’

for present and retired members of the Publicity Club of New

England.

This year’s meeting, scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Radisson

Hotel in Boston, will commemorate the club’s 50th anniversary and honor

its first president, John J. Molloy.

’We’ve built a real spirit of camaraderie over the past 50 years,’ said

Frank Doherty, Early Era coordinator and president of his own agency,

Frank Doherty & Associates. ’People still like to get together.’
