ATLANTA: Calysto Communications, a shop specializing in PR for

telecom and networking companies, has signed two new hi-tech clients

over the last two months: Telephia, a San Francisco-based start-up, and

Knowlagent, an Atlanta Internet company.

The business is worth about dollars 150,000 in annualized billings for

the agency, which opened its doors in February 1999. ’Many companies are

in search of telecom-specific help, and the Valley doesn’t seem to have

agencies that are targeted to this market,’ said Calysto principal Laura

Borgstede.

Neither Telephia nor Knowlagent had a full-service agency on retainer

prior to Calysto. The firm’s other clients include tech players Adtran,

Symmetron and Rangestar International.
