Levi Strauss adds PR tasks to global marketing VP job

SAN FRANCISCO: In a management shakeup intended to turn around the legendary jeanmaker’s slumping sales, Levi Strauss has increased the duties of global marketing VP Larry Ruff to include publicity, consumer relations, Web marketing and licensing.

SAN FRANCISCO: In a management shakeup intended to turn around the legendary jeanmaker’s slumping sales, Levi Strauss has increased the duties of global marketing VP Larry Ruff to include publicity, consumer relations, Web marketing and licensing.

SAN FRANCISCO: In a management shakeup intended to turn around the

legendary jeanmaker’s slumping sales, Levi Strauss has increased the

duties of global marketing VP Larry Ruff to include publicity, consumer

relations, Web marketing and licensing.



In the newly reorganized department, Roy Edmondson, who heads up Levi’s

product publicity as well as its Presence Marketing arm, now reports to

Ruff. Neither of the moves, however, likely portends major changes for

Levi’s corporate communications and public affairs team, which operates

separately from publicity and marketing.
