has again expanded its east coast presence, launching a Washington, DC

office to complement its recently opened New York outpost.

The five-person DC operation will be headed by Sally Aman, who had been

a managing director at Chlopak, Leonard, Schecter & Associates. She also

served as Tipper Gore’s communications director from 1993 to 1997 and as

press secretary for the 1993 presidential inaugural committee. During

the 1992 Clinton/ Gore presidential campaign, she worked as a statewide

communications director.

According to TB&C vice chairman and CEO Sandra Hillman, her firm has had

many business opportunities over the years with clients based in the

Washington, DC market. ’It reached the point where it made sense to open

an office in DC,’ she said.

The new office has already been placed in charge of some of TB&C’s

biggest clients, including the local ESPN Zone sports bar/restaurant and

the American Federation of Medical Research. Former and current clients

in the area include the NHL’s Washington Capitals, the NBA’s Washington

Wizards and the government of Greece.

TB&C also has an office in Reno, NV.
