On October 25, the two agencies unleashed around 100 ghouls wearing

Jason (of Friday The 13th fame) masks to help introduce Individual.com,

a free individualized provider of news and information services for

business pros. The troupe was led by Bill Hinzman, the ’leading’ zombie

from the horror classic Night of the Living Dead, who served as chief

’spooksman.’

The horde marched along Third Avenue, uttering the words ’blah blah,’

which not only hearkened back to Living Dead zombie assaults, but also

coincided with Individual.com’s portrayal of most news and information

services as little more than gibberish.

’It was hard to miss them,’ said Scott Fabian, TheJelly’s manager of

media services. ’People were amused and shocked - and they couldn’t keep

their eyes off them.’

Surprising, given the number of zombies walking the streets of New York

every day.
