At 24, Tanvir Nandra is winner of the PRCA Young Communicator of the Year award and comms officer at the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).

Nandra started working for IAM after her master’s degree in 2011 as a comms and marketing assistant. She progressed to comms officer in just nine months.

"I attribute my success to a can-do attitude. I’m hardworking and will do whatever it takes; comms isn’t a nine-to-five job. Without sounding clichéd, I’m passionate about getting our key messages across," she says.

The highlight of Nandra’s career so far has been winning the PRCA award: "I was shocked to even be nominated. I knew I was good enough, but I didn’t think I was going to win," she says.
