Mary Rose Museum turns to GongMuse

The Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth has hired GongMuse to help drive visitor numbers following a pitch.

The agency is tasked with building upon the museum’s opening last May, with efforts at spreading awareness including linking with the science press as well as contributing blogs from the conservationists involved.

Kallaway PR handled last year's opening of the museum, which displays remains of the sunken Tudor ship first rediscovered in 1971.

Rear Admiral John Lippiett CBE, CEO of the Mary Rose Trust, said: "We look forward to unlocking more stories behind the ship and the crew, especially those relating to the ongoing conservation and research, and the tremendous work we do through learning and outreach."
