Nelson Bostock parent Creston changes CEO as founder departs

CEO of Creston Don Elgie is to retire from the company he founded in 2001 with effect from 31 March this year.

Succeeding Elgie will be Barrie Brien, the current chief operating officer and chief finance officer, who has been with the group since 2004.

The search for a new CFO is under way and an announcement will be made in due course, but the COO post will not be refilled.

Creston, which owns Nelson Bostock and Fever, reported lower than anticipated first-half revenues of £35.7m in November.
