US agency JPA Health Communications opens London office

US healthcare PR agency JPA Health Communications has opened a London office headed by Valerie Carter.

The agency has offices in Washington and Boston and provides health communications for charity, pharmaceutical and medical device clients.

The London office currently has four employees with mainly EU pharmaceutical companies as clients.

Carter has been with JPA since 2011, and joined from Ricochet PR, where she was vice president for public affairs. She spent 15 years at Merck & Co, leading the company's government affairs communications efforts.
