Edelman hires Niaz Samadizadeh for new senior role

Edelman has appointed Niaz Samadizadeh as its first head of sponsored content and media partnerships.

Niaz has spent the past 16 years working for CNBC, where he was most recently head of creative solutions.

Previous to this Niaz was head of news, where he managed the running of the CNBC EMEA.

Jo Sheldon, Edelman executive director, media strategy, said: " As marketing disciplines converge and storytelling increasingly becomes the new advertising, paid content is a great way to supercharge the earned and owned content we work with clients to create."
