Inkling retains Cutty Sark whisky account

Inkling has retained the global comms account for blended whisky brand Cutty Sark for a third year.

The agency will provide consultancy on all aspects of marketing, digital and social media activity, as well as experiential and brand communications.

Jason Craig, global brand controller for Cutty Sark, said: "2014 is an important year for Cutty Sark as we look to introduce the brand to a younger, urban audience globally and Inkling’s vast experience, expertise and enthusiasm will be essential in achieving this."

Inkling said it had "ambitious plans" for the brand.

Cutty Sark is owned by The Edrington Group, which called a pitch for its PR account in October 2011, appointing Inkling to target consumers in their twenties and thirties.
