Nelson Bostock owner Creston misses revenue target

Creston, the group that houses Nelson Bostock and Fever, has reported lower than anticipated first-half revenues of £35.7m

This was down £1.5m from the same period in 2012, though the group claimed a strong new business performance would feed through into an improved second half.

The comms division of the group, which includes most of its PR agencies and other marketing agencies such as TMW, reported a £600,000 drop in headline profits before interest and tax to £2.5m.

However, the health division, which houses Red Door, performed worse, with headline profits before interest and tax dropping £1.1m to £1.5m. The division recently lost its US Sanofi business.
