Hill+Knowlton Strategies hires nuclear expert Michael Stott

Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK has brought in Luther Pendragon’s Michael Stott following the departure of Tara Singh to advise David Cameron on energy earlier this year.

Stott joins the agency’s Energy + Industrials offer as a senior associate director after nine months with Luther.

Before this, he was public affairs manager at EDF, handling comms for the development and deployment of its nuclear new build strategy.

He has also worked for former energy minister Charles Hendry MP and as a press officer for the Tories.

Singh, a public affairs manager at Centrica before heading to H+K in 2012, joined Number 10 in the newly created role in May.
