BMA comms chief Michelle Dixon heads to Imperial College NHS Trust

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has appointed Michelle Dixon as director of communications and external relations.
 
Dixon is currently director of communications at the British Medical Association (BMA), where she established the professional body’s first integrated communications and member engagement strategy.

She will take up her new post in February next year.
 
Dixon has more than 20 years’ experience as a professional communicator in the health and public sectors.

Before joining the BMA she was interim director of communications at the Cabinet Office and from 2001 to 2009 she was director of communications at The King’s Fund.
