At 29, Emma Hart already oversees a team of 12. She believes the breadth of experience she has built up during more than five years at O2 and being single-minded about her development has propelled her rapidly up the ladder.

"I get quite restless, so I have to keep things interesting by looking at how to constantly improve things," she says. Hart’s first PR role was at Hotwire, covering a friend’s holiday on reception. When one of the agency’s graduate trainees left, Hart was the obvious choice to fill the gap.

"I have never been shy of getting my hands dirty. There is no job I’m too important for. Attitude is everything," she says.
