The tech PR specialist won a competitive pitch for the brief, which focuses on building brand awareness and generating sales opportunities. It will be the lead agency for the region, working with its partners in the GlobalCom PR network to enhance the company’s reputation in strategic markets including France, Iceland, Germany and The Netherlands.

"We have plans to expand across the EMEA market and we needed an agency that would increase the profile of the company and support our commercial objectives," said Bernard Geoghegan, MD, EMEA at Digital Realty. "CCgroup has already demonstrated the strategic thinking, industry insight and delivery that will help Digital Realty to succeed."

Digital Realty’s customers include some of the largest global companies across multiple industry verticals, ranging from financial services and cloud and information technology services, to manufacturing, energy, health care and consumer products.

The company recently purchased a 5.37-acre site in a suburb of Amsterdam, with plans to build a 15,900 square metre, 11.5 megawatt data centre.
