Speed's Kate Bosomworth joins Sport England board

Culture Secretary Maria Miller has appointed Speed Communications MD Kate Bosomworth as one of seven new board members of Sport England.

The body is tasked to help strengthen community sport in the UK and ensure that the legacy from London 2012 continues.

The appointments build on the Culture Secretary’s attempts to raise the profile of women in sport by increasing the representation of women on sports governing bodies’ boards.
