Goddard Global will try to amplify Karama’s voice by contacting key decision makers in the political capitals while increasing international awareness of the NGO in global media.

The campaign kicks off tomorrow (26 October) with the Karama regional conference on peace and security in Amman, Jordan, sponsored by the UN.

Karama, the Arabic word for dignity, was launched in 2005 by Hibaaq Osman to bring together a diverse range of women's groups to broaden the role that women play in society in the Arabic region.

Osman said: "Karama prides itself on establishing key partnerships with those who are capable of making a real difference. We look forward to working with Goddard Global to raise the profile of our organisation and our network partners so that together we can address one of the most important and salient topics of the day – sustainable and real peace, democracy and equality across the Middle East and North Africa region."
