Kindred lands Investors in People repositioning job

Government-backed driver of skills Investors in People has appointed Kindred to handle its PR activities and upcoming repositioning.

Last month PRWeek reported the organisation was looking to bring in outside PR help for the first time in five years. Tender documents pointed to concerns that some perceive it as ‘out of date and tired’ as well as ‘process-driven and administrative’.

Kindred will focus on raising the profile of the brand in national, regional and sector media, while launching a number of campaign activities to ensure more UK businesses are aware of the breadth of its services, not just its well-known accreditation scheme.

The activity is intended to communicate IIP’s shift from a single product-orientated business to a central hub of insight, guidance and good practice on the value of talent.

The account will be led by Ruth Kieran, managing partner at Kindred.
