‘Iceland Foods: Life in the Freezer Cabinet’ starts tonight with an hour-long episode at 9pm on BBC Two. Episode two follows a week later.
It appears that the second episode in particular will offer a new perspective on the company’s reaction after beefburgers sold by it and other supermarkets tested positive for traces of horsemeat.
The documentary may also provide an insight into Iceland’s corporate culture, which helped it to win the title of The Sunday Times Best Big Company to Work For in the UK in 2012. Walker was voted Best Leader of a Big Company in the UK.
