Westminster City Council hires former ITN presenter Ben Scotchbrook

Westminster City Council hired former ITN anchor Ben Scotchbrook in the new role of senior media officer following 11 months as a comms consultant.

Before that, he spent more than 15 years with the news provider, most recently as a news presenter on ITV's London Tonight.

He will report into Lindsay Coulson, who recently rejoined the Westminster team after a spell at Harrow Council.

Coulson said: "We’re always looking to employ some of the most talented people across the industry and Ben brings a huge amount of media experience with him to Westminster."
