The event, which will be held on 5 December, will bring together international investment professionals and industry speakers. AFG represents and promotes the interests of the French asset management industry.

Manchester headquartered agency Citypress has appointed Blue Rubicon's Tom Kirkham as senior account director. Kirkham will work across a number of key client programmes at Citypress, leading on planning, strategy and creative development, as well as joining the agency’s leadership team. He spent more than three years at Blue Rubicon advising clients including Shell, Aviva, Experian and Royal Mail. Before that he spent six years at b2b technology PR firm Johnson King.

Ogilvy PR has appointed Kelly Hall as director to lead the agency’s technology practice. She joins from Bite Communications, where she ran the business and technology practice, and replaces Claire Kitt, who has not moved to another job.

Paul Ilett is has been hired as assistant director of comms and engagement for Essex at the NHS Central Eastern Commissioning Support Unit. Ilett, currently Barnardo’s regional media manager, will join the NHS team in October. He has previously worked at the NHS as comms and PPI manager at NHS South East Essex.

Ping Pong, the Chinese restaurant group specialising in dim sum, has called in DawBell to develop a strategic PR campaign around the brand’s activities over the next six months. The brief focuses on new cocktail, dim sum and tea menus.

Urban fashion retailer Blue Inc has appointed Portas to help build the brand into a leading high street menswear and womenswear destination following a competitive pitch. Portas will aim to raise brand awareness among men aged 14 to 25 and women through retail, digital, and social channels. It will also kick off the brand’s 2013 Christmas campaign before launching a major integrated campaign for 2014.

Grayling has appointed Ana Dodea as country manager in Turkey, and Eugenia Skobeleva as country manager for Russia. Both executives were promoted into their new roles.
