Hill+Knowlton Strategies boosts health team with Mary Hicks appointment

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has bolstered its UK Healthcare team with the appointment of Mary Hicks as a director.

Hicks will lead the Harley St Clinic account, as well as several pharmaceutical company programmes for the UK market.

She joins the agency following two years as a director at healthcare comms outfit TogoRun.

Hicks’ two decades of experiences also takes in time at Clew Communications and two years running her own agency, Mary Hick Healthcare.

A spokesperson for H+K said: ‘Mary’s creativity and strategic thinking will be an essential contribution to H+K’s healthcare team. She understands how to translate complex science into accessible language and, above all, has an overriding passion for healthcare.’

Hicks’ appointment is one of several recent additions to H+K’s growing healthcare team, including that of David Bowen as global head of healthcare and Sue Cook as MD at the London office.
