Liquid won the most awards across the PRCA’s five UK events – scoring two awards at the South West and Wales event, two in the Midlands and one in the South East.

At the events held across the country last week, McCann PR won four awards in the Midlands, while Remarkable and Weber Shandwick both picked up three awards each.

Liquid CEO Lis Lewis-Jones said the awards were ‘a reflection of the great work that’s been done across our Birmingham, Guernsey, Jersey and London teams’.

‘It’s really important that the PRCA has an awards scheme that recognises regional work but also includes London,’ she added.

PRCA director-general Francis Ingham commented: ‘We’ve seen some fantastic talent in the last week, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that great work really doesn’t stop at the M25.'

Other successes included Havas PR and Wolfstar, which both scooped two gongs at the North awards. Fever also won two awards in the South East.

The DARE Awards saw keynote speeches from industry leaders such as Grayling UK and Ireland CEO Alison Clarke, GolinHarris international president Matt Neale, Ketchum European digital and social media director Stephen Waddington and AgencyPeople associate partner Richard Houghton.
