Ketchum will promote the competition, which is backed by the Tech City Investment Organisation, the Mayor of London and London & Partners, across the globe through its local offices and affiliates.

The agency picked up the brief following its work with the Digital Shoreditch festival, the organisers of the competition.

Ketchum London will lead the work, co-ordinating with backers and partners of the initiative, and publicising the shortlisted entrants, finalists and eventual winner.

The competition is open to companies with less than £100m turnover that have been trading for under 10 years, with the opportunity to win £1m of funding from a combination of angel funding, institutional capital and equity crowdfunding.
