The owner of brands including Imperial Leather, Sanctuary, Charles Worthington and St Tropez, hired College Hill’s capital markets team without a competitive pitch.
The brief encompasses the City PR work previously held by MHP Communications, but the agency also has a remit to support the group’s comms on a global basis, particularly its key operations in Nigeria and Indonesia.
Brandon Leigh, finance director of PZ Cussons, explained that the appointment reflected College Hill’s ‘abilities to support us in our key international markets’ and the ‘wider support and resources available throughout the firm’.
The core account team will be led by senior adviser Tim Linacre supported by partner Toby Bates, and associate partners Catherine Wickman and Zinka Bozovic.
Paul Downes, chief executive of College Hill’s capital markets business, commented: ‘This is an excellent win for College Hill and one that fits with our objective to become one of the few international business communication consultancies providing the world’s leading organisations with the insight, creative thinking and execution across a range of complementary practice skills that really helps to build their business and brands.’
