The Swedish start-up platform, which was dubbed ‘the Tumblr of e-commerce’ by Wired magazine, allows people to create their own online store and has seen more than 14,000 such stores created across the world, including 2,500 in the UK, in its first year.

Deliberate PR, who won a pitch for the work, will be responsible for launching the Tictail concept within the UK consumer, business and retail media.

It will also look to generate news stories and secure partnerships to showcase the opportunities and functionality offered by the platform, which was created by Swedish entrepreneur Carl Waldekranz and co-founders Kaj Drobin, Birk Nilson and Siavash Ghorbani.

Benjamin Webb, MD of Deliberate PR, said: ‘Our mission is to demonstrate how this remarkable platform can unlock the ambitions of a new generation of British entrepreneurs and revitalise and reinvigorate existing retailers who might have never considered selling their products online.’
