Portas wins National Gallery retail brief

The commercial arm of the National Gallery has hired Portas to lead media relations for its retail activities following a competitive pitch.

The work will be led by Portas group account director Holly Bocock, who will report to Kalwinder Bhogal, head of marketing at the National Gallery Company.

The agency will work on raising consumer awareness of the gallery’s retail and e-commerce offerings and ensure the National Gallery Company receives equal exposure across print, digital and social channels.

Portas, founded in 1997 by retail expert Mary Portas, rebranded from Yellow Door in January this year.
