Good Relations recruits Lloyds Banking Group's Stephen Windsor-Lewis

Good Relations Group has recruited a former Lloyds Banking Group corporate brand chief to head its leadership and change communications arm.

Stephen Windsor-Lewis, who was director of engagement and corporate brand at Lloyds between November 2011 and October 2012, started this week.

At Lloyds, Windsor-Lewis reported to corporate affairs director Matt Young and was responsible for reviewing what the Lloyds corporate brand should be and engaging its 100,000 employees with the firm's corporate purpose.

Windsor-Lewis said: ‘In big businesses, the engagement part is normally owned by HR and the corporate brand by marketing, so it was really different to put those two together within the corporate affairs function.’

He will report to incoming Good Relations Group chief executive Jackie Brock-Doyle and work closely with chairman Kevin Murray.

Murray has been working in this area with businesses in the FMCG, energy, financial services and pharmaceutical sectors.

‘Stephen is like an experienced client who knows exactly what these companies need,’ said Murray.

Windsor-Lewis has also held director-level internal comms roles at BAE Systems, Royal Mail and Anglo American. After October 2012, he worked as a consultant for GSK, among others.
