Wag Ed will target mechanical design engineers to raise awareness of Solid Edge and drive interest in its features, including Siemens’ Synchronous Technology, which is integrated into the software.

The 3D computer aided design (CAD) technology, owned by Siemens PLM and distributed by Majenta PLM and Prion Cutting Edge, is used by engineers and designers to create a wide variety of products such as mining equipment and consumer electronics.

Waggener Edstrom’s editor-in-chief Nic Shaw said: ‘We’re thrilled to be working with Siemens and its partners to promote such an interesting and innovative product as Solid Edge.

‘It offers engineers unique time-saving benefits that help them focus on the creative aspects of their work, so we’re looking forward to developing an equally original and creative campaign that brings those benefits to life.’
