The Mayfair venue is a private members’ club and casino, operated by London Clubs International, featuring Playboy Bunnies, a bar, a restaurant and a night-time venue.

It has awarded M&C Saatchi a retainer after a pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies.

The club originally engaged Mischief for PR for its launch in 2011 (covered in PRWeek's Hit or Miss feature at the time). It is understood Mischief stopped working with the club around 18 months ago and did not participate in this pitch.

Lucy Sharp, national public relations manager at London Clubs International, said M&C Saatchi PR’s brief was to ‘showcase our venue as a leading London entertainment destination’.

Molly Aldridge, chief executive of M&C Saatchi PR, said: ‘It’s going to be an exciting journey for us as we enhance the club’s existing reputation as one of London’s top entertainment venues but also showcase it alongside a number of new and thrilling concepts to an entirely untapped audience.’

Separately, Playboy Magazine is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its first issue in the US this year.
