What is it good for?
Thames views by the Millennium Bridge, good steaks, and London's best South African wine list. On a price to quality ratio, I would say it has the best booze in town.
Although vegetarians will be happy here given the very nice truffle and pumpkin risotto, the signature has got to be the 28-day matured rib eye steak. But my favourite is the braised ox cheek.
Who's the boss?
Neleen Strauss runs the place. She is ever-present and on first-name terms with tons of regulars.
Tables outside are available in the summer, and the private dining room is excellent for client events. The wine tasting dinners they run mean you don't have to book out the whole table if you just want to take a client or two for the experience.
What's the damage?
For two, with wine, comes to approximately £50. But your wine preferences could alter that wildly.
