City & Corporate: The Week in the City

RLM Finsbury partner James Leviton is leaving the City agency to run the UK strategy arm of business advisory group Teneo.

Leviton will join Teneo in mid-January as managing partner in the UK heading Teneo Strategy, a division that encompasses corporate strategy, crisis management, comms and investor relations. Teneo is a multinational corporate advisory group founded in 2011 by Declan Kelly (former US CEO of Financial Dynamics and executive vice-president and chief integration officer of FTI Consulting), Doug Band (adviser to former president Bill Clinton) and Paul Keary (former senior MD at FTI Consulting).

Barclays' former head of corporate affairs Howell James has been appointed global head of corporate comms at Christie's, the auction house's top comms position. James announced he was stepping down from Barclays in October after four-and-a-half years without a job to go to. In his Christie's role, James replaces Toby Usnik, who becomes chief of CSR and senior international director for the Americas.

Adriatic Oil, the UK-based international exploration business, has hired Yellow Jersey PR as its first PR agency. The oil firm, which holds exclusive agreements to explore the shallow offshore waters of Albania, is listed on ICAP Securities & Derivatives Exchange (ISDX).
