Indeed, its office in Greater China grew revenues by 50 per cent through organic growth. This compares with its other high growth offices: the UK (up 20 per cent) and Germany (up 15 per cent).

The agency saw a number of clients expand their briefs, with Procter & Gamble entrusting the agency with its Vicks business.

Meanwhile, Haier, the white goods firm, handed MSL a multi-market comms brief.

MSL also turned its focus to CSR with the launch of its PurPle offering in January, which aims to put people at the centre of the strategic comms process. Clients have included Procter & Gamble, Kellogg's and Dell.

The most notable new hire was in the agency's Brazilian operation. Valeria Cafe was brought in as chief operating officer, based in its Sao Paulo office.
