Brands2Life to aid roll out of T-Motion WAP services

Online mobile services company T-Motion has hired Brands2Life to

handle consumer, corporate and trade PR as the company rolls out its UK

WAP services.



T-Motion is the mobile content arm of Deutsche Telekom, the parent

company of operator One2One, which last month appointed Neil Lovell as

director of corporate communications for the UK (PRWeek, 5 October).



Brands2Life will give strategic advice, IR and influencer relations and

event management to the company. The account had been held by Hill &

Knowlton but was put out to pitch this summer.



Brands2Life co-founder Sarah Scales said the consumer work would involve

introducing consumers to mobile services such as dating, online chat and

fantasy football.



'We will be looking at what messages we need to take to the market. We

have already handled the announcement of T-Plus which is a premium

content service involving sports, financial news, music and

entertainment,' she said.



'The challenge is to educate the marketplace on the value of mobile

content, and the validity of the T-Motion business model which involves

premium content,' Scales added.



The agency has also been tasked with doing some corporate PR for the

parent company in Germany. The account will be run by Scales, who will

report to Elaine Devereux, T-Motion head of PR.
